About me

  • 2009 is “The year of the dropback” I am determined to do it! (But now halfway through the year I am no nearer doing it).
  • I live north of London, UK
  • Hate my job, but have to pay for yoga somehow!
  • Crave a better work- Life (Yoga) balance.
  • Love my Ashtanga practice
  • Love to travel, especially to do yoga in nice places like Bali, Spain, Sweden, France, Italy and Turkey so far.
  • Like to listen to Kate Bush, Madonna, Enigma, Alanis Morissette, Dolores O’Riordan, Bjork, Genesis and the odd bit of Pink Floyd.
  • Like giving travel lectures and writing for travel magazines on the side.

    I’ve finally gotten to your blog. We are leaving in 10 days and I think I will soon be needing much moral support from UK Ashtangis. BTW, I love Enigma too and I got interested in Ashtanga after hearing that Madonna started doing it and it replaced biking and running (10 years ago).

    Mea Culpa by Enigma is a great piece of music, I learned the ashtanga chant partly by listening to madge’s version!
