I’ve finally gotten to your blog. We are leaving in 10 days and I think I will soon be needing much moral support from UK Ashtangis. BTW, I love Enigma too and I got interested in Ashtanga after hearing that Madonna started doing it and it replaced biking and running (10 years ago).

Pat, just get in touch if you need help.

Mea Culpa by Enigma is a great piece of music, I learned the ashtanga chant partly by listening to madge’s version!

      Thanks Liz,
It’s been great to meet you, sorry you are leaving, i have enjoyed your assists, especially in UHP and dropbacks.

I hope Sharath gets me up from UD, I’m here another 6 weeks. I think I have more chance with that than the Sanskrit!

    Hey Kevin
Have loved reading through your blog. I have been practicing yoga for a couple of years now and I am off to KPJAYI institute in Mysore in November. I have never practiced ashtanga before, I understand the classes are not led so is it importnant for me to try and learn the primary series before I go??
